Kobe Bryant

I was at an event with my sister and her husband. This event was a celebration of Kobe Bryant's NBA career. At the end of the event, people were given an opportunity to meet him and congratulate him. God had put it on my heart to try to save him from going to hell. I battled with myself to do it at that very time because I didn't really want to spoil the event for him. The way they formed the line to give people an opportunity to speak with him caused me to be near the end of the line. So instead of waiting to speak with him and spoil the party, I walked out the side door of the venue. But due to feeling convicted, I decided to try to speak with him anyway. I looked back and it was as if nobody was in line. I just knew it would be a long line and that I would  have to wait a long time to speak with him. I walked inside the venue and I walked right up to him and I immediately tried to save him. He listened and eventually we both sat down to finish conversing. I spoke about his legacy, vanity, and what God thinks about it all. I told him that God doesn’t care about anything he has done for the Lakers, only people do. God only cares about what you’ve done for Him.
